Ross Tamlin is an international painter in Kyogle and he’s particularly known for his unique landscape and surrealist paintings, because of the exquisite corrugated iron effect that he employs in them. While working at Studio 1+2 in Rozelle, he found and developed this technique. He is currently a resident of the Northern Rivers region in NSW.
He achieves the wonderful corrugation effect in his works by overlapping several paint layers on top of one another. At present, his artworks are housed in the corporate as well as private collections of Hong Kong, USA, France, Britain, Switzerland and of course, Australia.
